Gorditas Mi Torreón

I’ve been searching for a good flauta and sopes place and let me tell you this is it. From someone that has had Sonora style flautas and more potato flautas these were legit very good. Am used to the traditional papa flautas, the cabbage, queso fresco, crema just made the perfect combination for my flauta plate. Now all it needs is some consomé and perfect. Highly recommend this place if you looking for flautas and sopes.

The food was amazing! We got shredded chicken with chipotle sauce and pork and potatoe gorditas. The red sauce on the table was goooood and spicy! Our waitress Vanessa was super polite, she spoke enough English and we spoke enough Spanish to order. The horchata was made with REAL cinnamon and amazing

Very good place for some gorditas. The chicken was crispy and tasteful. I haven’t tried the other meats but from what I heard they were better. The salsa is the best part of this place. They have extremely spicy salsa that will have you gasping for air. Although it’s spicy it has a lot of flavor. If you don’t like spice I do not recommend the salsa. Overall great place to eat.

Great food, although gorditas is what they are known for, I have to say my favorite was the sope. The coffee was very tasty and delicious (even though I'm not a coffee drinker) The orchata water actually tasted like orchata and not that fake sugared water. Warning the food is actually spicy but great flavor . I would definitely recommend it to friends. Parking structure has seen better days, but that's one of the things that makes these types of places a hole on the wall restaurant with awesome food!

I love this place such an amazing spot. The food is so flavorful. The gorditas make me feel like a little peace of heaven on earth . If only the while world would unite and share these gorditas there wouldn't be wars or violence only peace. Everybody would be too tired to fight and would wanna agua Fresca and just chill. Maybe a movie who knows? Straight up.

Super homey, great prices, food is always fresh and hot. Their cafe de olla is the best ever and it’s super authentic food. They have traditional and deep fried Gorditas as well as other items. Plenty of filings and their agua Fresca is also great. Food comes out fast and employees are friendly and helpful. They always have plenty of help. Only tough part is their parking is super limited but totally worth it.

This place is a great place to go to get some really good Mexican Gorditas. They have an amazing variety of meats to choose from and add to your Gordita. If you are not sure which meat you want in your Gordita, don’t be shy, just ask the ladies for a sample. We literally had a sample of every meat that they had displayed (we ain’t shy). We went on a week day during the lunch hour and it was a challenge to find parking. Additionally, there was a line out the door but it moves fast. It’s a small Mexican restaurant but they are putting out so big numbers with those tasty Gorditas. The ambiance is busy but you can tell from the patrons that everyone is having a good time and enjoying their food. They have so many different options, you will have to visit them a few times to really appreciate the goodness they are putting on your plate. The food was very satisfying and the pries were very reasonable.
